Tournament in the Oil Patch

The Enerplus “Legends of the Oil Patch” event – a poker tournament in which participants were invited to play “legends” (movers and shakers who have contributed in a big way to the oil and gas industry) took place in late September.

ACAD Contract Awarded

Western Sky is pleased to announce that we were awarded the contract to work with the Alberta College of Art & Design to create all the materials they will need for the 2009/10 school year! This will include prospective student materials, pieces for school events, external fundraising events and convocation materials.

We are already under way working on a few projects to finish off this year; such as an annual report and a Christmas card! The scope of the work involved, as well as the new kinds of challenges this client brings us, is certainly exciting for everyone on the Western Sky team.

Make it Your Problem

The release of our campaign for Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids took place November 4th at Sunterra Markets and Good Earth cafés across the city. BB4CK is a non-profit organization that is working towards obliterating the problem of hungry children in Calgary.

Glenbow Exhibition


WSC is interested in all things pop and contemporary art, so we are looking forward to the Marilyn Monroe exhibition at the Glenbow Museum. It runs from November 8 until mid February.
